Did you know that you don’t have to be an animal communicator to know what your cat is thinking or get a degree to learn about feline behaviour? There’s one surefire way to know what your pet wants and while it sounds simple, for many of us, it isn’t.

You just have to trust that you are reading your animal’s signals right

To survive in the world, animals have to be on their game. All the time. Otherwise, that lion is going to come along and eat them.

In the human world, it’s called transparency and I teach this ALL THE TIME!

When an animal is hungry, it’s up to the animal to identify that feeling and act on it. When an animal is wary, it’s up to the animal to identify what’s up and get away from it. When an animal is unsure, it’s up to the animal to notice that feeling and do what is necessary to become sure. If the animal doesn’t do this, he’s not going to have food, he’s going to get eaten by the lion, and he’s certainly not going to be able to protect his family.

This simply means, “what you see with your animal is what you get”.

Trusting your gut with FELINE BEHAVIOUR

If you think your dog is scared of big cars going by, trust that. He probably is because that’s what he’s showing you.

If, based on your cat’s behaviour, you think your cat hates your neighbour, trust that! In fact, there really is probably something un-cool about that neighbour. (Nix note: Breeders have experienced this sometimes with people who visit their homes to choose kittens.)

As people, we’re taught to hide our feelings. We’re told to “be strong” and discouraged from looking within. This is a plan that backfires! It takes us away from our self-awareness – and in the animal world, it would make us untrustworthy. If you’re in my pack and I can’t trust you to react to something that scares you, then I can’t trust you to protect the pack.

So, this comes full circle in translating feline behaviour. If you think your cat is feeling a particular feeling, based on their behaviour, just trust that thought and trust that your cat is being transparent with you. It’s how they survive!

It all comes back to trust. You don’t have to be psychic – you just have to trust yourself to read the situation and your pet. Learning more about feline behaviour will help you develop a natural intuition.

Consider learning how to use the Trust Process – it is the foundation of everything and when you apply it not only will you feel more peace and calm, but you will optimise healing and strengthen the immune system while deepening your relationship with your beloved companion. (Nix Note: We have tried and tested this amazing technique and had fabulous results.)

You can find out how to learn the Trust process by taking a live 1 day class in your area or learn it online through Sarah-Jane Farrell’s online learning portal. Knowing how to use the trust process will also give you a solid platform where learning goes up as adrenal goes down, then when you are training or communicating with your animal they can implement realisation learning.
