SACC CAT OF THE YEAR 2017: HIGHEST SCORING PETERBALD 2017
CFSA GOLD AND RUBY 2017 AND 2018 QUALIFIER
KZNCC TOP CAT 2017 QUALIFIER
PCS TOP CAT 2017 QUALIFIER

Sire: Kissiopeia Nova Fire Fox of Kioko, NQ
Dam: Siori Mulan of Kioko, NQ

Unfortunately, due to birth complications, Amberle also ended up at the vet with an emergency c-section and spay in February 2018 Amberle was the highest placed Peterbald with SACC in 2017 and has made us extremely proud breeders! She has been a challenge to show, but has the tortie attitude and everything that goes with it. Amberle continued to show with CFSA and SACC in 2018. We are devastated to have lost her in our breeding programme but she will forever be remembered as an excellent example of her breed and a loving pet. Amberle’s only surviving kitten was fostered by a wonderful Bambino mum from Catkin cattery and has a fabulous home in Gauteng. Amberle has since been rehomed to a family in Gauteng who has been waiting for a baby for a very long time from us.

KIOKO SELENE

REST IN PEACE MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL

Caramel Ticked Tabby Calico Brush Peterbald Female

CFSA SUPREME CHAMPION
CFSA GOLD & RUBY QUALIFIER 2017, 2018

Selene came out of no where and we fell deeply in love with her. Eager to reintroduce more dilute colours into our programme, Nora gave us this little gem. With excellent type, conformation, a superb temperament and pattern, we were so excited to see how our moon child was received!  She qualified for the CFSA Gold and Ruby Show 2017 and 2018, and has been an absolute joy to show placing the top 20 females nationally both years. Sadly Selene passed away from dry FIP in June 2018 and I am absolutely devastated that there was nothing we could have done to help her. She was my heart and soul. Rest in peace my amazing moon child. Until we meet again.

KIOKO YOU DO THAT VOODOO

REST IN PEACE MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL

Black Van Odd-Eye Oriental (Sectoral Heterochroma)

CFSA SUPREME CHAMPION
CFSA GOLD AND RUBY QUALIFIER 2016, 2018

Voodoo was our dream baby. Born first of the 2016 kitten season, we were over the moon when we discovered that Nora and Toby had blessed us with a Van. Over the course of a few weeks her eye colour also developed uniquely. This little gem had a fantastic temperament and a lovely balanced head and body. We were so excited to have her to further our high white bicolour programme as well as our Peterbald programme. Voodoo did well at shows consistently placing in the top 20 kittens in 2016 and top 20 females in 2018. Voodoo sadly passed away in July of renal failure. A huge loss to our breeding programme and for our family. She will be missed more than we can say.

LAMASKA FREE TO BE ME OF KIOKO

REST IN PEACE MY BEAUTIFUL BOY

Chocolate Tabby Pointed Bicolour Siamese Male

CFSA STUD OF THE YEAR NOMINATION 2016

Toby was a gift to us from our dear friend and sister breeder, Mariette Burger. A shy boy, he preferred the company of his concubines over humans but he was really a beautiful child with a lot of super qualities to add to our breeding programme. Sadly Toby passed away at 6 years old in December of renal failure. Having spent a fortune on tests, the vets could not find any genetic markers for his illness. He will be missed dearly.

LAMASKA LION KING OF KIOKO

Red Self Oriental Male

CFSA SUPREME CHAMPION
SACC SUPREME CHAMPION
CFSA GOLD AND RUBY QUALIFIER (MULTIPLE YEARS)

Leo is a fabulous lion that was gifted to us from our sister breeder, Mariette Burger to augment our breeding programme in 2013. He produced many fabulous cats that have shown over the course of the years, and he passed on his amazing temperament to all his offspring. Leo was retired from breeding in 2017 and rehomed to a loving furrever family with one of his kittens.

LAMASKA BEST KEPT SECRET OF KIOKO

Chocolate Tabby Point Velour Peterbald Female

Betsy was our foundation female for our Peterbald programme, a lovely girl with a very sweet temperament and lots of expectations. She produced many stunning litters for us and her daughter, Kioko Dirty Little Secret (aka Gecko) continues her legacy at LaMASKA cattery by being the most amazing breeding queen. Her other daughter, Kioko Cassandra Nova is the first Peterbald Neuter who has shown in Ireland and is a super example of the breed. Betsy was retired a few years ago to live a life of luxury in her furrever home.

LAMASKA ABARAI RENJI OF KIOKO

Red Self Oriental Male

CFSA SUPREME CHAMPION
SACC SUPREME CHAMPION
2 TIME SACC CAT OF THE YEAR QUALIFIER

Our first, our everything, Renji was my soulmate. This boy was just everything from the moment he was born to the moment he left this world. With excellent type, an amazing temperament, fabulous show presence and an endless love for his humans, his lady friends and his kittens, Renji was really the heart and soul of our breeding programme for many years. Sadly after we moved house in 2011, Renji escaped his outdoor enclosure and went missing. We believe he was stolen and ended up in a really lovely home eventually, but we were never able to find him. This left us devastated. We kept in contact with him via animal communicator and healing guru, Sarah-Jane Farrell for many years and although difficult to let him go, he was insistent his work was “done” with us and he had very important “soulcat” work to do elsewhere. Renji we will never forget your contribution to our breeding, to our home and the huge hole you left in our hearts.

KIOKO JUNO BUG

Black Tortie Silver Mackerel Tabby Female

Juno was our first-kept female from our initial breeding lines. She had a wonderful nature and superb type and slept in my arms. Sadly in 2010 she contracted pneumonia while pregnant and we made the decision to let her go. We will always remember her quirky antics and amazing nature. Go well Bug, until we meet again.

TAIGHA SPIRIT OF CHANTICO OF KIOKO

Chocolate Calico Oriental Female

Chanti was our first ever calico oriental and we are so grateful to Lucy Arends-Wagner for getting us hooked on this amazing pattern and for entrusting her lines to us. Chanti was a shy girl, a real blonde who would often get herself into awkward situations such as falling off counters while staring at herself longingly in the mirror. She knew she was a stunner! Chanti was a fabulous show cat and mother. Sadly in 2010 she was admitted to the vet pneumonia at the same time as Juno, and passed away of a heart attack. She will always be missed.
