Kioko kittens are registered with the Southern Africa Cat Council. From birth until 4 weeks old, kittens are kept with their mother, in our bedroom, where we can keep a close eye on them, and monitor their progress. Once they start to wean, at about 4 weeks old, they move into the nursery and living area and start to integrate with the rest of the household.
Kittens are raised on Hills Kitten, raw topside mince and organic free-range chicken mince. They are inoculated by our vet at 8 - 9 weeks of age with a 3 in 1 vaccination and should they be going to pet / show homes, they are neutered or spayed at 12 - 14 weeks of age. All kittens are neutered, microchipped, dewormed and flead prior to leaving our home. Kittens leave our home at 16 weeks of age, confident and playful, with a hamper full of goodies.
Each hamper includes
Registration papers and professionally printed Pedigree - signed and stamped by SACC
Hills Kitten Food Hamper
Kitten Manual - available as pdf via email if requested
Vet Book of Life
Toys
Blanket
Not included in the adoption fee
Flights - We ship our kittens via Express Air or SAA Cargo.
Carriers - We only use Airline-approved carriers.
FELV / FIV testing - this is available at the new owner's expense upon request.
Each kitten is given individual attention to ensure that temperaments are sound and that the kitten is able to adjust with ease in his new home, however introducing a new kitten to your household should be a delicate process, carried out with as much patience, love and encouragement as possible.
We sometimes have kittens that are available for breeding purposes and will consider to sell to serious breeders who are reputable and can provide references. Exceptional kittens are occasionally available for export worldwide. Price breakdowns of kittens are available on request and we require new owners to sign an adoption agreement.
We expect kittens to be treated with the same love and care that they have grown accustomed to in our home. We reserve the right to refuse the adoption of any kitten to anyone for any or no reason whatsoever.
