KIOKO THOR

Cream Oriental

CFSA SUPREME PREMIER
CFSA GOLD & RUBY QUALIFIER 2017 (NOT IN ATTENDANCE)
SACC GRAND CHAMPION, SACC REGIONAL QUALIFIER
PCS TOP CAT QUALIFIER 2017

Sire: LaMASKA Free To Be Me of Kioko
Dam: Siori Mulan of Kioko

Thor was one of those kittens that just did not want to leave. Although social and confident at home, his first adoption was cancelled for financial reasons and he was then readopted twice thereafter; both owners convinced his ego was just too big for their households so, I collected him and brought him home. Sometimes kitten just decide they are here to stay and although we were not planning on it, we are happy we made the right choice for him. He wants to be near his mommy, Mu, and loves his humans. Thor has been on show since 2016 and has done consistently well gaining awards and nominations. He isn’t the flashiest guy but he loves the attention!

Mu, as she is fondly known has been the most amazing breeding queen and show cat consistently producing good type and performing well on the bench since her very first show in 2015 when she won Cat of the Day at the tender age of 4 months old. Sadly, in December 2017, Mulan fell ill and we made the decision to C-section her 4 days prior to her due date. Unfortunately her babies did not survive passed weaning but we are thankful that she survived and she is still a valued member of our family. Mulan will continue to show as a neuter with CFSA and SACC in 2018.

Spirit is a show neuter Ragdoll who has shown in the Medium Hair Neuter class. This breed is phenomenally laid back and bomb proof and a perfect contrast to our hyperactive, crazy Oriental, Siamese and Peterbalds. Spirit joined our family in February 2016 and fitted right in from the moment he left his carrier as a treasured companion and perfect show baby. Thank you to Breeze and Mark Swartzberg in the biggest way for allowing us the privilege of being owned by a Ragdoll. Not many breeders are keen for a pet to go to a Breeder’s home but, we promise to give him lots of love, attention and cuddles. We are truly entranced with this whimsical breed and hope to have many years together. Spirit has excelled on show winning various Best Medium Hair Kitten categories, competing in various finals and gaining all his awards and many nominations. In 2016, Spirit qualified for the CFSA Gold and Ruby Show and achieved the title of CFSA Gold Cat 2016, as well as qualifying for KZNCC Top Cat 2016 placing well in his category.

In 2017, Spirit qualified for both SACC and CFSA COTY placing well in both National competitions among the best of the best felines shown nationally throughout the year. What an honour it has been showing this beautiful boy. Previous to this he was crowned Best Medium Hair and Medium Hair Neuter for 2017 in the regional, PCS Top Cat 2017.

KIOKO AMBERLE, NQ

Blue Tortie Ticked Tabby Peterbald Velour Female

SACC CAT OF THE YEAR 2017: HIGHEST SCORING PETERBALD FOR 2018
CFSA GOLD AND RUBY 2017 QUALIFIER
KZNCC TOP CAT 2017 QUALIFIER
PCS TOP CAT 2017 QUALIFIER

Sire: Kissiopeia Nova Fire Fox of Kioko, NQ
Dam: Siori Mulan of Kioko, NQ

Unfortunately, due to birth complications, Mulan’s daughter, Kioko Amberle also ended up at the vet with an emergency c-section and spay in February this year. Amberle was the highest placed Peterbald with SACC in 2017 and has made us extremely proud breeders! She has been a challenge to show, but has the tortie attitude and everything that goes with it. Amberle will be rehomed in March to someone very special who has been waiting for a baby for a very long time from us. Amberle will continue to show with CFSA and SACC in 2018. We are devastated to have lost these girls in our breeding programme but they will forever be remembered as excellent examples of their breeds and will continue to represent them on show this year. Amberle’s only surviving kitten is being fostered by a wonderful Bambino mum from Catkin cattery and will remain at Kioko to see their legacy continue.
